To be granted a Certificate III in Fitness (SIS30315), all assessments must be completed and marked ‘Satisfactory’. There is also a final capstone assessment for each student to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of what is needed to be a fitness instructor (gym and group) in the industry. Each student will be required to complete a minimum of 50 hours work experience (some of these hours are part of the individual Unit of Competency’s assessment). There is also an expectation that it takes approximately 20-40 hours to complete each Unit (which includes outside study and research).
Upon successful completion of the Certificate III in Fitness (SIS30315) from WISE, you will then be granted automatic enrolment (that is, you will not have to pay an enrolment fee) into the Certificate IV in Fitness (SIS40215). You will also be given credit for some of the information you studied in the Certificate III in Fitness (e.g, anatomy and physiology).
Pricing will be determined once one of the Staff Member’s reviews your Expression of Interest. From there we can determine the best training plan for you and if there is any Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to be granted which may lower your tuition fees. NOTE: Students have a maximum of one year from the time of enrolment to complete the Certificate III in Fitness (SIS30315) unless it is subsidised with Government funding (e.g., traineeship).
